OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation dated July 30, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 7C of

Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, and to subsection 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the said Revised Statutes, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) effective September 22, 2003, revoke the appointment of Andrew H. Barker as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation made pursuant to Order in Council 2002-200; (

b) confirm and ratify Kenneth Barbet as Acting President of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, effective September 22, 2003; (

c) approve the contract of employment for Kenneth Barbet as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation in such form as attached to the Report and Recommendation as

Schedule "A"; and (

d) appoint Kenneth Barbet as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, effective August 1, 2004.
