Order in Council 1405/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 13(1) of the Fair Access to Regulated Professions and Compulsory Trades Act, 2006, Melissa Thomson, of Toronto, Ontario be appointed as the Fairness Commissioner, on an interim basis, for a period of nine months, effective October 8, 2016, and ending July 7, 2017, or when a new Fairness Commissioner is appointed, whichever occurs first.

And that Order in Council O.C. 467/2016 dated March 23, 2016 be revoked effective October 8, 2016.
