OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated December 13, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 672.38 of

Chapter C-46 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the Criminal Code , is pleased to: (

a) approve an increase in the remuneration paid to psychiatrist members of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board from $75.00 to $120.00 per hour, to a maximum of $1,080.00 per day; (

b) determine that the remuneration of Dr. Syed Akhtar, Dr. Robert Pottle, Dr. Philip Mills and Dr. Michael Teehan, each of whom currently serves as a psychiatrist member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board, will increase in accordance with (

a) on and after December 21, 2018; and (

c) confirm that Orders in Council 2016-128 dated May 24, 2016, 2017-86 dated March 28, 2017, and 2018-9, dated January 16, 2018, pursuant to which Dr. Syed Akhtar, Dr. Robert Pottle, Dr.Philip Mills and Dr. Michael Teehan were appointed members of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board, otherwise remain unchanged.
