Statute: Offshore Petroleum Royalty Act Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Canada) Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy who is responsible for the Offshore Petroleum Royalty Act, dated June 20, 2006, pursuant to

Section 100 of

Chapter 28 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1988, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Canada) Act, and clause 22(

b) of

Chapter 9 of the Acts of Nova Scotia, 1987, the Offshore Petroleum Royalty Act, and such other authority vested in the Minister, is pleased, effective June 22, 2006, to: (

a) approve the terms and conditions of the Offshore Strategic Energy Agreement with EnCana Corporation, a body corporate, in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Energy to sign the Offshore Strategic Energy Agreement referred to in clause (

a) or one to like effect.
