An Act to Amend the Child and Youth Advocate Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1 The Child and Youth Advocate Act,

chapter C-2.7 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2007, is amended by adding after subsection 3(3) the following: 3(3.1) The selection committee shall be established not fewer than 90 days before the end of the term of the Ad- vocate. 3(3.2) If the office of Advocate becomes vacant more than one year before the end of the term of the Advocate, the selection committee shall be established within 30 days after the vacancy occurs. Loi sur le défenseur des enfants et de la jeunesse,

chapitre C-2.7 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2007, est modifiée par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le pa- ragraphe 3(3) : 3(3.1) Le comité de sélection est constitué au moins jours avant la fin du mandat du défenseur. 3(3.2) Si le poste de défenseur devient vacant plus d’un an avant la fin du mandat du défenseur, le comité de sélec- tion est constitué dans les jours suivant la vacance.
