2004 1 APPROPRIATION (NO. 1) BILL No. 18 of

An Act for granting to Her Majesty certain sums of Money for the Public Service for the Fiscal Year ending on March 31, 2005 (Assented to , 2004) MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN: Whereas it appears by a message from Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, and the estimates accompanying the message, that the sums mentioned in this Act are required to defray certain charges and expenses of the public service of Saskatchewan not otherwise provided for during the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2005; May it therefore please Your Majesty, that it may be enacted and be it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Appropriation Act, 2004 (No. 1). General revenue fund There may be paid out of the general revenue fund a sum not exceeding $501,464,000 to be applied towards defraying the charges and expenses of the public service for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2005, not otherwise provided for, and being approximately one-twelfth of the aggregate of each of the sums to be voted as set forth in the estimates for the general revenue fund for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2005 that were laid before the Legislative Assembly at the present session of the Legislature. Same In addition to the amount set out in

section 2, there may be paid out of the general revenue fund a sum not exceeding $8,798,000 to be applied towards defraying the charges and expenses of the Department of Learning for the purposes of K-12 Education for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2005, and being part of the sums to be voted as set forth in the estimates for the general revenue fund for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2005 that were laid before the Legislative Assembly at the present session of the Legislature. General The application of all moneys expended pursuant to this Act shall be accounted for to Her Majesty.
