Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated October 13, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to, effective October 20, 2016: (

a) revoke the appointments of each of M. Michelle Higgins, Lora MacEachern, Gregory P. Keefe, Jennifer Palov, Gordon D. Hebb, Q.C., Bruce E. Davidson, Q.C., D. William MacDonald, Q.C., Graham D. Walker, Q.C., Reinhold Endres and Gordon S. Gale, Q.C. as Acting Clerk of the Executive Council; and (

b) appoint Jennifer Glennie of Halifax Regional Municipality as Acting Clerk of the Executive Council, to execute the office and functions of the Clerk of the Executive Council in the event of his/her absence or inability to act.
