Order in Council 1956/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1920/2013, dated December 11, 2013, The Honourable Joseph James was reappointed as a part-time member of and redesignated as the part-time Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, effective from the 16 th day of December 2013, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of his reappointment and redesignation;

and

whereas The Honourable Joseph James has agreed to be further reappointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council and to be further redesignated as the part-time Chair of the Council;

therefore pursuant to subsections 8(2) and 8(3) of the Coroners Act , as amended, The Honourable Joseph James is hereby reappointed as a part-time member of and redesignated as the part-time Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, effective from the 16 th day of December 2016, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a further period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this reappointment and redesignation.
