OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated September 22, 1999, pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 32,480 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Meloney's Creek, Upper North Sydney, Cape Breton County, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to transfer the administration and control of the said lands to the Minister of Natural Resources.
