Definition

1 In this regulation, "commission" means the Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council.

MCEC dissolved

2 On the coming into force of this section,

(

a) the commission is dissolved;

(

b) the appointments of the commission members are terminated and all rights and obligations of the members in relation to or under those appointments are extinguished;

(

c) the rights and property of the commission are vested in the government;

(

d) the liabilities and obligations of the commission are assumed by the government; and

(

e) a legal proceeding or action commenced by or against the commission may be continued by or against the government as if it were the commission.

2 Au moment de l'entrée en vigueur du présent

article :

a) la commission est dissoute;

b) le mandat des membres de la commission est révoqué et leurs droits et obligations à ce

titre s'éteignent en conséquence;

c) les droits et les biens de la commission passent au gouvernement;

d) les engagements et les obligations de la commission sont pris en charge par le gouvernement;

e) les instances judiciaires introduites par ou contre la commission se poursuivent par ou contre le gouvernement comme s'il s'agissait de la commission.

Repeal

3 The following regulations are repealed:

(

a) Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Marketing Plan Regulation , M.R. 83/2006 ;

(

b) Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council Membership Regulation , M.R. 84/2006 ;

(

c) Cattle Enhancement Information Order , M.R. 171/2006 .

Abrogation

3 Sont abrogés :

a) le Programme manitobain de commercialisation du bétail , R.M. 83/2006;

b) le Règlement sur la composition du Conseil manitobain de commercialisation du bétail , R.M. 84/2006;

c) le Cattle Enhancement Information Order , M.R. 171/2006 .

Coming into force

4 This regulation comes into force on December 31, 2014.
