OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated May 1, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 754 square meters, more or less, situate at or near Bayfield, in the County of Antigonish, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) transfer administration and control of the land to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans in exchange for land of equal value; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute Transfer of Administration and Control in such form as the Minister determines; and (

d) accept from Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, the transfer of administration and control of a parcel of land, containing a total of 185 square metres, more or less, at Bayfield, Antigonish County, and being more particularly described in

Schedule "C" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
