Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated September 20, 2004, pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use those portions of surplus public lands containing 1.2, 1.3 and 1.3 acres for a total of 3.8 acres, more or less, situate at or near Lot 3, Lot 4 and Lot 5, Howe Avenue, New Minas, Kings County, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the land to Sherdon Developments Limited of New Minas, Kings County, for the price of $125,000.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
