OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries dated June 11, 2003, and pursuant to Sections 27 and 87 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and to

Section 2 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2003, the Appropriations Act, 2003, is pleased to: (

a) ratify the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries' signing of the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Framework Agreement on Agricultural and Agri-Food Policy on June 27, 2002, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) effective on and after April 1, 2003, authorize the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries to enter into the Canada-Nova Scotia Implementation Agreement substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the agreement and such additional operational agreements or appendices as are necessary to implement this agreement. 2003
