OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated July 26, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act and in accordance with the Department of Health and Wellness (the Department) Capital Funding Envelope, is pleased to approve the making of a grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to: (

a) the Nova Scotia Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed $5,748,000 to cover the Department’s 75% share of the costs for the required and approved automated pharmacy drug distribution technology and anaesthesia monitoring system equipment; and (

b) the IWK Health Centre in the total amount not to exceed $2,038,200 to cover the Department’s 75% share of the costs for the required and approved interventional radiology system equipment, the cost of which grants is charged to the Department Capital Funding Envelope, effective August 30, 2016.
