Order in Council 1971/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario has, by an Address presented to the Lieutenant Governor in Council, requested the appointment of the Honourable J. David Wake as temporary Financial Accountability Officer commencing on September 26, 2017 for a term of six months or until the effective date of appointment of a permanent Financial Accountability Officer, whichever comes first;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 2 (2) of the Financial Accountability Officer Act, 2013 ,

The Honourable J. David Wake

And that Order in Council O.C. 237/2015 dated February 27, 2015 be revoked.
