OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated January 6, 2009, and pursuant to subsection 97(1) of

Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2004, the Police Act, is pleased to amend the Police Regulations, N.S. Reg. 230/2005, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2005-567 dated December 20, 2005, to prescribe the oath required for special constables and by-law enforcement officers appointed under subsections 88(1) and 89(1) of the Police Act, in the manner set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after January 28, 2009.
