B.C. Reg. 53/2007, deposited March 8, 2007, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [Section 35] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [Section 26]. Order in Council 127/2007, approved and ordered March 7, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective March 15, 2007,

Schedule C of the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended

(

a) in

section 1 by adding the following definition:

"hearing aid dealer and consultant" means a hearing aid dealer and consultant registered with the Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Consultants under the

Hearing Aid Act ; , and

(

b) in

section 3 (1) (c) (

i) and (ii) by striking out "audiologist"

wherever it appears and substituting "audiologist or hearing aid dealer

and consultant ".

Schedule C of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended

(

a) in

section 1 by adding the following definition:

"hearing aid dealer and consultant" means a hearing aid dealer and consultant registered with the Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Consultants under the

Hearing Aid Act ; , and

(

b) in

section 3 (1) (c) (

i) and (ii) by striking out "audiologist"

wherever it appears and substituting "audiologist or hearing aid dealer

and consultant".
