OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated June 26, 2005, pursuant to Sections 151 and 153 of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) determine the remuneration for the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board to be an annual honorarium of $20,000 per year to a maximum of $50,000 per year, commencing the calendar year 2005; (

b) determine the remuneration for the Deputy Chair of the Workers' Compensation Board to be an annual honorarium of $3,000 per year commencing the calendar year 2005; (

c) determine that the per diem remuneration for the Chair, Deputy Chair and Members of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board to be $300 per day for attendance at meetings of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board, for attendance at committee meetings and meeting preparation days in addition to reimbursement for reasonable travelling and other expenses incurred in connection with the work of the Board; and (

d) determine that the Deputy Chair and Members of the Board of Directors (other than the Chair) of the Workers' Compensation Board receive an annual honorarium of $2,000 for chairing board committees.
