chapter E-12 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended in the portion preceding paragraph (

a) by striking out “2009” and substituting “2011”. 1

Section of the Legislative Assembly Act, chap- ter L-3 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended 2(1) L’article de la

Section of the Act is amended by adding after subsection (2) the following: 2(2) L’article de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le paragraphe (2) : 37(3) Despite subsection 25(1.1) as it read immediately before April 1, 2008, for the twelve month period com- mencing on January 1, 2009, and for the twelve month period commencing on January 1, 2010, the amount of the annual indemnity payable to a member of the Legislative Assembly who made an election under subsection (1) shall be the same as the amount payable under that subsection 25(1.1) for the twelve month period commencing on Jan- uary 1, 2008, and such annual indemnity shall be deemed to be the annual indemnity authorized to be paid under that subsection 25(1.1). 37(3) Par dérogation au paragraphe 25(1.1) tel qu’il existait immédiatement avant le 1er avril 2008, pour la pé- riode de douze mois commençant le er janvier et pour la période de douze mois commençant le er janvier 2010, le montant de l’indemnité annuelle que reçoit un député de l’Assemblée législative qui a fait le choix prévu au paragraphe (1) est le même que le montant payable en vertu de ce paragraphe 25(1.1) pour la période de douze mois commençant le er janvier et cette indemnité annuelle est réputée être celle autorisée à être versée en vertu de ce paragraphe 25(1.1).
