OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated April 20, 2011, and pursuant to Sections 25, 26 and 27 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Roy Surette of Church Point, Digby County, as a Member and designate him as Chair of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a term of three years effective June 7, 2011; (

b) appoint Jerry Amirault of Tatamagouche, Colchester County, as a Member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a term of one year effective June 7, 2011; (

c) reappoint Danny Nickerson of Shelburne, Shelburne County, as a Member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a further term of three years commencing August 4, 2011; (

d) determine the rate of remuneration for carrying out duties as Chair of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board to be $150 per day; (

e) determine the rate of remuneration for carrying out duties as a Member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board to be $100 per day; and (

f) determine that reasonable expenses incurred by Members of the Board in the performance of their duties shall be paid in accordance with provincial government policy.
