Details are set out concerning the types of retirement savings plan that are permitted. When employees are hired, they auto- matically become members of the plan and are required to make contributions. However, employ ees may opt out of the plan at any time. The terms of the pl an may provide for periodic in- creases in a plan member’s annual contribution rate up to a specified maximum rate or amount.
