OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Nova Scotia Police Review Board dated May 23, 2013, and pursuant to Sections 13 and 15 of
Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2004, the Police Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Kenneth Langille of New Glasgow, Pictou County to the Nova Scotia Police Review Board effective June 14, 2013, for a term of six months; (
b) fix the remuneration of Kenneth Langille as a member of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board at $150 per meeting; and (
c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Kenneth Langille and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
