EMERGENCY HEALTH SERVICES REGULATIONS (EXTENSION OF

EXPIRY DATE) AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Emergency Health Services (Interim) Regulation

(AR 76/2009) is amended in

section 21 by striking out

"March 31, 2014" and substituting "March 31, 2016".

2 The Licensing and Ambulance Maintenance Regulation

(AR 46/99) is amended in

section 24 by striking out "March

31, 2014" and substituting "March 31, 2016".

3 The Staff, Vehicle and Equipment Regulation (AR 45/99)

is amended in

section 21 by striking out "March 31, 2014" and

substituting "March 31, 2016".

Alberta Regulation 22/2014

Police Act

POLICE SERVICE AMENDMENT REGULATION

section 61 of the Police Act.

1 The Police Service Regulation (AR 356/90) is amended by

this Regulation.

Section 3 is amended by repealing clauses (2) to (4).

Section 10.1 is amended by striking out "audiotape or

videotape" and substituting "audio recording or video recording".

Section 10.5 is amended by striking out "audiotape or

videotape" and substituting "audio recording or video recording".

Section 10.6 is repealed and the following is substituted:

Status of police officer

10.6(1) The person in charge of the investigation referred to in

section 10.2 shall,

(

a) before directing an interview with a police officer under

section 10.5 or requesting copies of the police officer's notes

under

section 10.4,

(

i) determine whether the police officer is a subject officer

or a witness officer, and

(ii) advise the police officer in writing concerning the

determination whether the police officer is a subject

officer or a witness officer,

and

(

b) as soon as practicable, advise the chief of police in writing

concerning the determination whether the police officer is a

subject officer or a witness officer.

6 The following is added after

section 18:

Revocation of commission

18.1(1) In this section, "commission" means a commission issued

under

section 60.1 of the Police Act to a senior officer or chief of

police.

(2) A chief of police in the case of a senior officer, or a police

commission in the case of a chief of police, may recommend to the

Minister in writing that a commission previously issued to the senior

officer or chief of police should be revoked on any one or all of the

following grounds:

(

a) the senior officer or chief of police has been convicted of an

offence under the Criminal Code (Canada);

(

b) the senior officer or chief of police has been found guilty of

serious misconduct referred to in

section 19(1.1);

(

c) the senior officer or chief of police is alleged to have

committed conduct that would, in the event of a hearing

under

section 19(1.1), likely result in a finding of guilt;

however, the police officer or chief of police retired, resigned

or a loss of jurisdiction occurred;

(

d) one of the following has requested that the commission be

revoked for any other sufficient reason:

(

i) the senior officer or chief of police to whom the

commission was issued;

(ii) a chief of police in the case of a senior officer's

commission;

(iii) a police commission in the case of a commission issued

to a chief of police.

Section 26.1 is amended by striking out "March 31, 2014"

and substituting "January 31, 2021".

8 This Regulation comes into force on the coming into

force of

section 10 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 2013

(No. 2).

Importation from other provinces

89 For the purposes of

section 86(3) and (4) of the Act, an adult

may import liquor purchased in a province or territory other than

Alberta for personal use or consumption in Alberta subject to the

policies of the Board respecting the importation of liquor.

Marketing of Agricultural Products Act

ALBERTA EGG PRODUCERS PLAN AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Alberta Egg Producers Plan Regulation (AR 258/97)

is amended by this Regulation.

2 The title is repealed and the following is substituted:

EGG FARMERS OF ALBERTA PLAN REGULATION

Section 1 is amended

(

a) by repealing clause (

b) and substituting the

following:

(b) "Board" means the Egg Farmers of Alberta;

(

b) by adding the following after clause (f):

(f.1) "family member" means the spouse, adult

interdependent partner, child, parent, sibling,

son-in-law, daughter-in-law, father-in-law,

mother-in-law, first cousin, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew

of a registered producer;

Section 3 is amended by renumbering it as

section 3(1)

and by adding the following after subsection (1):

(2) On and after January 1, 2014, the name of the plan continued

under subsection (1) is changed to the "Egg Farmers of Alberta

Plan".

Section 5(4) is amended by striking out "(AR 394/86)" and

substituting "(AR 183/97)".

Section 7 is amended by renumbering it as

section 7(1)

and by adding the following after subsection (1):

(2) On and after January 1, 2014, the name of the board continued

under subsection (1) is changed to the "Egg Farmers of Alberta".

Section 9(2)(

c) is repealed and the following is

substituted:

(

c) governing the transferability or non-transferability of quotas;

Section 19 is amended

(

a) in subsection (3) by striking out "until one year has

expired following the expiry of that person's last term" and

substituting "until the next annual general meeting

following the expiry of that person's last term";

(

b) in subsection (4) by striking out "and" at the end of

clause (a), by adding "and" at the end of clause (

b) and adding the following after clause (b):

(

c) is a resident of Alberta.

(

c) in subsection (4.1) by striking out "more than 2

members who are directors" and substituting "more than

one member who is a director".

Section 20 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by adding the following after

clause (b):

(b.1) the person is not a resident of Alberta;

(

b) in subsection (2) by striking out "or" at the end of

clause (

b) and by adding the following after

clause (b):

(b.1) the person ceasing to be a resident of Alberta, or

(

c) by adding the following after subsection (2):

(3) The Board may, on a motion passed unanimously by the

members in attendance at a Board meeting, remove a member

from office if the member fails to abide by any of the Board's

policies, administrative directives or orders.

Section 28(3) is repealed and the following is

substituted:

(3) A registered producer to which this

section applies shall appoint

an individual to be the representative of the registered producer and

(

a) if the registered producer is a corporation, the corporation

must appoint an individual who is a director, shareholder,

member, officer or employee of the corporation or a family

member of a shareholder as its representative,

(

b) if the registered producer is a partnership, the partnership

must appoint an individual who is a partner or an employee

of the partnership or a family member of a partner as its

representative, or

(

c) if the registered producer is an organization other than a

corporation or a partnership, the organization must appoint

an individual who is a member, officer or employee of the

organization as its representative.

Section 34 is amended by striking out "May 31, 2014"

and substituting "September 30, 2019".

Marketing of Agricultural Products Act

EGG FARMERS OF ALBERTA FEDERAL AUTHORIZATION ORDER

Definitions

1 In this Order,

(a) "Canada Act" means

(

i) the Farm Products Agencies Act (Canada), and

(ii) the Agricultural Products Marketing Act (Canada);

(b) "Commodity Board" means the board known as the Egg

Farmers of Alberta;

(c) "Federal Provincial Agreement" means the agreement

respecting the revision and consolidation of the

comprehensive marketing program as agreed to by the parties

for the purpose of regulating and marketing eggs in Canada,

as revised from time to time;

(d) "Federal Order" means the Alberta Egg Order made under

the Agricultural Products Marketing Act (Canada);

(e) "Grant of Authority" means the Canadian Egg Marketing

Agency Egg Quota Grant of Administrative Authority made

under the Farm Products Agencies Act (Canada);

(f) "Marketing Council" means the Alberta Agricultural

Products Marketing Council.

Authorization

2 The Marketing Council hereby authorizes the Commodity Board to

perform all functions and duties and exercise all powers imposed or

conferred on the Commodity Board under the Canada Act, the Federal

Provincial Agreement, the Federal Order and the Grant of Authority.

Repeal

3 The Alberta Egg Producers Federal Authorization Order

(AR 60/2000) is repealed.
