MINISTRY OF ENERGY, MINES AND PETROLEUM RESOURCES

STATUTES CORRECTION REGULATION, 2006

Corrections to Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources statutes

1 The following statutes are corrected as set out in the attached Schedule:

(

a) Mineral Tenure Act ;

(

b) Oil and Gas Commission Act ;

(

c) Petroleum and Natural Gas Act ;

(

d) Pipeline Act ;

(

e) Power for Jobs Development Act .

Schedule

Mineral Tenure Act

Section 6.32 (1) of the Mineral Tenure Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 292, is amended by striking out "section 4 or 45" and substituting "section 42 or 45".

Oil and Gas Commission Act

Section 1 (1) of the Oil and Gas Commission Act , S.B.C. 1998, c. 39, is amended in the definition of "specified enactment" by striking out "and" at the end of paragraph (f), by adding "and" at the end of paragraph (

g) and by repealing paragraph (h) (

v) and substituting the following:

(

v) Environmental Management Act ; .

Section 9 (1) is amended by striking out "(appeals to Environmental Appeal Board)".

Petroleum and Natural Gas Act

Section 65 (1) (c) (ii) of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act ,

R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 361, is amended by striking out "centered" and substituting "centred".

Pipeline Act

Section 1 (1) of the Pipeline Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 364, is amended in the definition of

"pipeline"

(

a) by adding "and" at the end of paragraph (c), and

(

b) by striking out "as defined regulations" and substituting "as defined in regulations made".

Power for Jobs Development Act

Section 4 of the Power for Jobs Development Act , S.B.C. 1997, c. 51, is amended by striking out "business' application." and substituting "business's application.".
