OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated December 10, 1998 pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing one acre, more or less, situate at or near Mount Thom, Pictou County, and more particularly described as

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) convey the land to Jean Irving of Salt Springs, Pictou County, as partial settlement for other lands required for the construction of Highway No. 104, reserving therefrom certain privileges, rights and licenses in connection with certain utility equipment including power telephone lines situate on the said lands; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
