SECTION 17, by deleting the text shown as struck out and adding the underlined text as shown: 17

Section 45.1 is amended (

a) by repealing subsection (1) (

a) and substitutin g the following: (

a) respecting the amount payable as bene fits for the provision of health care by a health care practitioner to an insured person, including, without limitation, regulations adopting a pa yment

schedule under

section of the Medicare Protection Act ; , and (b.1) in subsection (3) by striking out “ subsection (1) (a) (ii) ” and substituting “subsection (1) (a) ”, and (
