OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated May 2, 2014, and pursuant to subsection 7(

c) and clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) issue a lease for a nominal fee of $1.00 for a term ending October 31, 2017, for a parcel of Crown land containing approximately 2.55 hectares (6.3 acres), the exact location and acreage to be determined by survey, located at Wileville, Lunenburg County, shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, a body corporate with its registered office at Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, its successors, trustees, and permitted assigns, for the purpose of developing, operating and maintaining a public recreation area, and for no other purpose; (

b) issue a grant or deed to convey a parcel of Crown land containing approximately 2.55 hectares (6.3 acres), located at Wileville, Lunenburg County, shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (c); (

c) accept from the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, its trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, seven parcels of land containing approximately 7.69 hectares (19 acres), located on Mason Island, Lunenburg County, shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “B”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to the condition that the Municipality of the District of Luneburg, its trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

d) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order
