Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated November 14, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of certain lands containing 54,928 square metres, more or less, situate at or near Sydney, County of Cape Breton and more particularly described in

Schedule "A", identified as lands required by Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of Nova Scotia and Parcel "A" on

Schedule "C", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of the land to Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board, a body corporate under the laws of Nova Scotia, having its office at Sydney, County of Cape Breton, for the nominal consideration of $1.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described.
