OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated August 31, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 4B and 4C of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective August 31, 2021, to: (

a) create the Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment; (

b) direct that the Office shall be presided over by the Minister of Health and Wellness who has the supervision, direction and control of all affairs and matters relating to the Office and who shall supervise the performance of the functions of the Office; (

c) assign all affairs and matters relating to the recruitment of healthcare professionals throughout Nova Scotia to the Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment; and (

d) direct that the Chief Executive Officer of the Office be referred to as the Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment.
