OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated August 15, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 672.38 of

Chapter C-46 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the Criminal Code, is pleased, effective August 23, 2002, to: (

a) repeal clauses (

a) and (

c) of Order in Council 2001-602 dated December 21, 2001, appointing the Honourable William J. Grant, Q.C., as a member of the Nova Scotia Review Board and designating him as Chair of the Nova Scotia Review Board; (

b) designate Peter Lederman as Chair of the Nova Scotia Review Board for a 3 month term commencing August 23, 2002; (

c) repeal clause (

b) of Order in Council 2001-109 dated March 2, 2001, providing for remuneration for Peter Lederman as a member of the Nova Scotia Review Board; (

d) determine that the remuneration of Peter Lederman as Chair of the Nova Scotia Review Board be at the rate of $150.00 per hour to a maximum of 55 hours per month, together with reasonable expenses; and (

e) determine that the remuneration of Peter Lederman as a member of the Nova Scotia Review Board upon the expiration of his term as Chair of the Board pursuant to this Order in Council be at the rate of $75.00 per hour.
