OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated March 3, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of certain lands, two parcels of surplus land located at or near Bridgetown, County of Annapolis, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the exchange and conveyance of two parcels of surplus land, which are landlocked, PID # 05143987 containing an area of 4.0 acres, and PID # 05173562, containing an area of 4.0 acres to Rice’s Contracting Company Limited at or near Bridgetown, Annapolis County in exchange for four parcels of land Parcel R1 containing 442.2 square metres, Parcel R10 containing 773.9 square metres, Parcel R5 containing 403.7 square metres and Lot LS-2016, containing 435.4 square metres, and six utility easements, for the nominal consideration of $1.00, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation, located at or near Bridgetown, Annapolis County, to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (

d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
