Loi sur les élections municipales Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

Section of the Municipal Elections Act,

chapter M-21.01 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1979, is amended L’article de la

Loi sur les élections municipales,

chapitre M-21.01 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 1979, est modifié (

a) by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the following:

a) par l’abrogation du paragraphe (1) et son rem- placement par ce qui suit : 13(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), every person is entitled to vote in an election or plebiscite under this Act held in the municipality in which the person ordinarily re- sides if the person is 13(1)

Sous réserve des paragraphes (2) et (3), a le droit de voter à une élection ou un plébiscite qui a lieu en vertu de la présente loi dans la municipalité où il réside habi- tuellement quiconque remplit les conditions suivantes : (

a) eighteen years of age as of the day of the election, and

a) il a dix-huit ans révolus au jour des élections; (

b) a Canadian citizen.
