OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated April 23, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 84 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act ,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act , and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective April 28, 2014: (

a) appoint Allan Eddy as Associate Deputy Minister of Natural Resources; (

b) designate Allan Eddy as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act ; (

c) fix and determine the salary of Allan Eddy to be at such rate as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier in accordance with the Senior Officials Pay Plan as it applies to Associate Deputy Ministers; and (

d) direct that Allan Eddy shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan and such other benefits as may be determined by the Deputy Minister to the Office of the Premier.
