B.C. Reg. 253/2005, deposited July 28, 2005, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [Section 35 (2) (f)] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [Section 26 (2) (f)]. Order in Council 539/2005, approved and ordered July 27, 2005.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective August 1, 2005,

(a) sections 7 (2) (

e) and 42 (b) (ii) of the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, are amended by striking out "claim for refugee status determined under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada)," and substituting "claim for refugee protection, or application for protection, determined or decided under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada),", and

(b) sections 6 (2) (

e) and 38 (b) (ii) of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, are amended by striking out "claim for refugee status determined under the

Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada)," and substituting "claim for refugee protection, or application for protection, determined or decided under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada),".
