OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated June 2, 2026, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act , is pleased, effective June 4, 2026, to: (

a) revoke Order in Council 2025-302 dated October 30, 2025; and (

b) whenever a member of the Executive Council holding an office listed in Column I of

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, is unable for any reason to perform the duties of their office: (

i) appoint the first-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II of

Schedule “A” as Acting Minister in the Minister’s stead; and (ii) in the event that the first-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II is unavailable to act, appoint the second-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II of

Schedule “A” as Acting Minister in the Minister’s stead.
