Statute: Liquor Control Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Liquor Control Act dated December 17, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Liquor Control Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Frank MacFarlane of Pictou County as a director of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of three (3) years commencing February 6, 2025; (

b) appoint Steve Streatch of Halifax Regional Municipality as a director of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of three (3) years commencing February 6, 2025; and (

c) appoint Tara Miller, K.C. of Halifax Regional Municipality as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for the remainder of their term commencing on February 6, 2025, and ending on July 4, 2027.
