OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated December 5, 2014, and pursuant to Sections 672.38 and 672.39 of

Chapter C-46 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the Criminal Code, is pleased to, effective December 22, 2014: (

a) re-appoint Dr. Michael Teehan of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of three years; (

b) re-appoint Dr. Brian J. McCormick of Halifax Regional Municipality (West Chezzetcook) as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of three years; (

c) re-appoint J. Walter Thompson, Q.C., of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of one year; (

d) re-appoint J. Dena Bryan of Pictou, Pictou County. as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of one year; (

e) re-appoint William Kilfoil of Halifax Regional Municipality (Oyster Pond) as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of one year; (

f) appoint Judith McPhee, Q.C., of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford) as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of one year; (

g) determine that the remuneration of Dr. Michael Teehan, Dr. Brian J. McCormick, J.Walter Thompson, Q.C., J. Dena Bryan, William Kilfoil and Judith McPhee, Q.C., shall be at the rate of $75.00 per hour for time spent necessarily attending to their duties as members of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board; and (

h) determine that Dr. Michael Teehan, Dr. Brian J. McCormick, J. Walter Thompson, Q.C., J. Dena Bryan, William Kilfoil and Judith McPhee, Q.C., shall be paid such actual and reasonable travel and other expenses as may be incurred by them in the performance of their duties, payable in accordance with the travel policies and guidelines of the Province of Nova Scotia applicable to civil servants.
