EXPLANATORY NOTE NOTE EXPLICATIVE This Bill changes the name of The Brandon Area Foundation to The Brandon Area Community Foundation Inc. En vertu du présent projet de loi, la « Brandon Are a Foundation » deviendrait la « Brandon Area Community Foundation Inc. ». Provisions respecting the composition of the Founda tion's board and the appointment of board members are changed. The minimum number of board members is reduced from nine to six. Board members are to be appointed or e lected in accordance with the Foundation's by-laws.

An Act to incorporate The Brandon Area Foundation , S.M. 1965, c. 112, and was continued by The Brandon Area Foundation Incorporation Act , R.S.M. 1990, c. 16; AND

WHEREAS the foundation has presented a petition requesting the following amendments to The Brandon Area Foundation Incorporation Act , and it is appropriate to grant the petition; (Date de sanction : ) Attendu : que la « Brandon Area Foundation » a été constituée en corporation en vertu de la loi intitulée

Section 1 is amended by striking out "Foundation " and substituting " Community Foundation Inc. ". 3
