OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated June 9, 2026, and pursuant to
Section 7 of
Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2000, the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act , hereby: (
a) revokes the appointment of David Smith of Kings County as the Secretary of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission made by Order in Council 2024-254 dated June 18, 2024, effective June 23, 2026; and (
b) appoints Jason Sproule of Colchester County as Secretary of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a term of three years commencing June 23, 2026.
