Order in Council 857/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024

July 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Act, 2024 , c. 27, which amend the Highway Traffic Act , come into force:

Schedule 8, s. 3, 4, 5, 8, 9.
