OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries dated April 11, 2003, pursuant to Sections 7 and 8 of
Chapter 7 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Agriculture and Rural Credit Act and Sections 10 and 13 of the Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board Regulations made by Order in Council 92-1162 dated December 1, 1992, is pleased to: (
a) approve the granting of an additional loan to Grant Holdings
(1983) Limited in the amount of $1,200,000 plus a processing fee in the amount of $1,200 to assist in purchasing Total Production Quota and to finance dairy barn improvements, under the terms and conditions described in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (
b) determine the rate of interest to be charged on this loan to be 6.85%.
