OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated September 5, 2019, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 4 of
Chapter 252 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Legal Aid Act , is pleased to:
a) re-appoint Fred Colaiacovo of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a part-time director of the Nova Scotia Legal Aid Commission for a three-year term commencing November 1, 2019; and
b) determine that the remuneration of Fred Colaiacovo shall be in the amount of $150 for each day of meetings of the Commission or a committee of the Commission, to a maximum of $600 for each fiscal year, and reimbursement for reasonable expenses actually incurred by Fred Colaiacovo in fulfilling his duties as a part-time director of the Nova Scotia Legal Aid Commission, provided that any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally paid to members of the civil service.
