Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, dated August 27, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 308 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Natural Products Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statues of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to:

a) revoke the appointment of Lorenda Ebbett of Tatamagouche, Colchester County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council, which appointment was made by Order in Council 2015-279 dated August 25, 2015, commencing October 29, 2019;

b) appoint John C. H. Vissers of Mackay Siding, Colchester County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of three years, commencing October 29, 2019; and

c) determine that John C. H. Vissers be remunerated for his service in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as a member, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
