Statute: Crop and Livestock Insurance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, dated April 21, 2020 and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 113 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crop and Livestock Insurance Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Ruth Grant of Center Rawdon, Hants County, as a member designated as Vice-chairman of the Nova Scotia Crop and Livestock Insurance Commission, which appointment was made by Order in Council 2018-129 dated May 1, 2018, commencing May 28, 2020; and (

b) appoint Rachael Cheverie of Valley, Colchester County, as a member and designate her as Vice-chairman of the Nova Scotia Crop and Livestock Insurance Commission for a three-year term, commencing May 28, 2020.
