OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 18, 2008, and pursuant to
Section 7 of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (
a) acquire land located at Blomidon, Kings County containing 820+/- hectares (2026+/- acres) and shown outlined in bold on
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation from Annapolis Group Inc., its trustees, approved successors and assigns for a purchase price of $3,241,600, subject to the condition that Annapolis Group Inc., its trustees, approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (
b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
