On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Amalgamation of Regional Health Boards and Community Health Councils Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/96, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1,

(

b) the Board and Council Purposes Regulation, B.C. Reg. 376/98, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2, and

(

c) the Hospital Transfer Regulation, B.C. Reg. 359/94, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 3.

Schedule 1

1 The title of the Amalgamation of Regional Health Boards and Community Health Councils Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/96, is repealed and the following substituted:

AMALGAMATION OF REGIONAL HEALTH BOARDS REGULATION .

Section 1 is amended by repealing the

definitions of "new council" and " old council" .

3 Sections 3 and 4 are repealed.

Section 5 (1) is amended by striking out "

section 2, 3 or 4 " and substituting "

section 2 ", by striking out " , new council or board, as the case may be, " and by striking out " , new council or board acquired by the amalgamation " and substituting " acquired by the amalgamation ".

Section 6 is amended by striking out " or community health council " wherever it appears.

Schedule 2

1 The title of the Board and Council Purposes Regulation, B.C. Reg. 376/98, is repealed and the following substituted:

REGIONAL HEALTH BOARD PURPOSES REGULATION .

Section 2 is amended

(

a) by striking out " and under

section 7 of the Act for councils ", and

(

b) in paragraph (

b) by striking out " or council ".

Schedule 3

Section 1 of the Hospital Transfer Regulation, B.C. Reg. 359/94, is amended by striking out " or council " wherever it appears.
