Statute: Peggy's Cove Commission Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated November 8, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 339 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Peggy's Cove Commission Act , is pleased to: (

a) revoke the designation of Nicole Campbell of Halifax Regional Municipality (Peggy's Cove) as Vice-chair made by Order in Council 2020-202 dated July 30, 2020; (

b) designate Nicole Campbell as the Chair of the Peggy's Cove Commission for a term commencing November 29, 2022, and expiring on August 1, 2024; (

c) determine the remuneration of the Chair of the Peggy's Cove Commission to be $50.00 per half day of attendance at meetings plus reimbursement for travel expenses related to meetings, provided such expenses do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service; and (

d) designate Maria Bartholomew of Halifax Regional Municipality (Peggy's Cove) as the Vice-chair of the Peggy's Cove Commission for a term commencing November 29, 2022, and expiring on July 28, 2026.
