OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Business dated May 4, 2016, is pleased to, effective on and after July 8, 2016: (
a) pursuant to
Section 19 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act, revoke Order in Council 2005-373 dated August 19, 2005, respecting the Waterfront Development Corporation Limited; (
b) pursuant to
Section 71 of
Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, reconfer and continue, without interruption the status of the Waterfront Development Corporation Limited as a crown corporation; and (
c) pursuant to
Section 77 of
Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, approve Waterfront Development Corporation Limited entering into an agreement with the Halifax Port Authority for the exchange of certain lands on the terms and conditions set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations that do not materially change the nature of the agreement.
