OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated March 14, 2024, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) acquiring six (6) parcels of land totalling approximately 87.4 hectares (216 acres) located at Corbetts Cove, Richmond County, currently identified as PIDs 75056838, 75099101, 75211326, 75099077, 75211334, and 75212308 and shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from Weldon Emmerson Glenn Black, personal representative for the Estate of Lillian Frances Black, or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors or assigns for a purchase price of $170,000.00 (plus HST, if applicable), subject to the condition that Weldon Emmerson Glenn Black, personal representative for the Estate of Lillian Frances Black or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors or assigns are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
