On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the

advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective October 17, 2019,

the Cannabis Control Regulation, B.C. Reg. 204/2018, is amended as set out in the

attached Appendix.

Appendix

1 The Cannabis Control Regulation, B.C. Reg. 204/2018, is amended by adding the

following section:

Definitions for Act and regulations

2.1 In the Act and regulations made under the Act:

"consume" , in respect of cannabis, includes to smoke, vape, ingest, apply or absorb cannabis;

"consumer" , in respect of cannabis, means an individual who buys cannabis for consumption or

use by the individual or others, and not for resale.

Section 9 (1) is amended by striking out " "cannabis non-solid concentrates" , "cannabis solid concentrates" " and substituting " "cannabis concentrate" ".

3 The table in

section 9 (3) is amended

(

a) in column 1 of item 5 by striking out " solid concentrates " and substituting " concentrate ", and

(

b) by repealing item 6.
